Customers View in Nortwind demo

Post by dantes » 2015-12-23 09:12

Goodmorning everyone. This is my first post so sorry for trivial question.

I bought AppGini observing the potential of demo Nortwind. I need to create a system of purchase requisitions where the parent table contains the basic information (username, date of request .... etc) and a child table that contains the items to be purchased.

I would like to get a view like that of Nortwind (http://bigprof.com/demo/customers_view.php) where clicking on a single customer opens the card details of the customer with under the individual orders for the customer ....

I thought it was a native feature of AppGini ..... however .....

I hope it is not too difficult to achieve such a thing since I'm not a programmer ...

Thank you for your (hopefully) help ....

It is a native feature, but not enabled by default. In AppGini, click the parent table (customers for example), and from the options at the right, click the "Parent/children settings" button and enable the desired child tables. This assumes you've already defined parent/child relationships using lookup fields. For more info, please watch this screencast: AppGini lookup fields and master/detail pages
