Auto fill not working for more than one look up

Post by CarlRhino » 2015-01-25 18:17

Hi support,

I have a user table that has a number of fields, Station1name, Station1URL, Station2name, Station2URL etc up to 10
I have a radion table that has StationName and StationURL with about 500 rows in it.

I am wanting to have the user fields Station1name as a lookup, giving the StationName as a drop down list - not problem this is a lookup and easy to do. I can also get the Station1URL to autofill with the StationURL based on the StationName picked.
The problem I have is that the moment I select a StationName from the dropdown for Station2Name I get Station1URL again and can't change it. It seems that the lookup, once selected first, is the only autofill that will be used.

How can I get it so that whatever StationName is picked from the lookup table the relevant URL ends up in Station2URL, and so on?

I hope that made sense, it did to me :D

Thanks.
Carl.

Hi Carl,

Auto-fill fields currently get updated only when the first non-auto-fill field having the same parent table is changed. But we plan to change this in future releases to make it more specific and thus fix the issue you are describing.

I have an autofill question.

I wish to autofill one field from another field in the same table. I can do it from another table but not the same one. can you assist?

This should work fine. Please check the attached project file for a working example.
