Bug: When FIELD phone number

When a field is defined as a phone number the table doesn't display all of the numbers. See images. How do I fix this?

I'm not sure if this is the intended way the "phone number" field should work or not, but if you leave the dashes out and enter just numbers the dashes will be put in the correct location. However, if you enter the dashes you're number will appear as my initial post above. Seems to me if this is the intended way, then entering dashes in the input box should should strip them away, only allow numbers, or give an error.
