Hi,
Small brainwave, is that to embrase🤪
Accounts and passwords….. so many and how to remember….. notebook, Acces database, Keypass…… Excel….
What if there is send a random generated code to mailaddress belonging to that account.
I think it is even more save than how it is used to day.

What about different way getting into an account
Re: What about different way getting into an account
Hi Ron,
this is certainly an idea that is actually realized on websites today.
My problem with this is: IF someone has control over your mails ... well, we know, that then he controls everything.
BTW: IMHO it should both be possible - use the code OR a password (if you do not want to wait for the code or if you are using a password manager this might be easier).

Some postings I was involved, you might find useful:

Hi Olaf,
Thank you for your reaction.

Hi
Let's say it's an idea - and could well be a feature request.
