I second this, could be a good feature - although I've had a good experience with Reportico for PHP. You need to be able to write SQL though (lucky for me - it's my job!) - and the interface takes some getting used to. Bit quirky.

I've managed to make a suite of reports using some custom php and Reportico - https://ada.abernyte.org/reports.php - would highly recommend it as an alternative while waiting for something official.
