Printing

Post by utony » 2020-11-08 15:46

I have a main table that is connecting to 4 additional tables. When I go to print the main table I have open the child tables to print them, and for the most part it looks good, but I rather report one nice clean report with all 4 tables data all in one. Can someone steer me in the right direction on this? I know how to modify each table, but is there a way to link all 4 tables into on clean printed report?

Hi,

maybe write a function, that produces PDFs of each of your 4 tables and then sends that PDF to the browser?

I could only hope to see a plugin for this in the near future. :)

I figured it out! It's not easy but after 3 days of messing with it, I got it!!!!

I reached to AG, but they wanted $ 60 dollars per file to edit! I have like 18 files that needed editing. No way! No cool at all. It is what it is though. I just kept digging and hacking and I finally figured out to make the data the way I wanted. Thanks again

There is a Udemy course on generating a report that has worked excellent for me. I have a table with 6 children and the report looks absolutely great. The Udemy courses are worth the money!

Which Udemy course?
is it the "Customizing Appgini web applications"? because in this course there are 12 sections and none of them mention a "generating a report".
