Hello
Is it possible (by programming of course!) to make a photo management application? Storage (originals), visualization, download, and especially GPS coordinates (and see on a map the location), I am on SMUG but I wanted to have my own application.
Has anyone ever done this? Thank you
Photo management application

First appreciation what Alejandro did. Really cool stuff!
But coming back to to the initial post: don't get me wrong but why bother yourself doing that?
I speak a bit out of experience as someone being passionate taking photos myself. There is plenty of software available. Commercial and opensource.
Designed to do exactly what you need and beyond as they recognize GEO Tags from pictures, sort them or process workflows etc.
Frankly go for one of those and instead of messing around with your own application. And when it comes to storage: webspace is expensive. Keep that in mind. Fileshares mostly less.
