cascading drop downs

hello everyone, I have a problem with cascading drop downs in AppGini 5.96
In the table view, I see the entries for the cascading drop downs ok. But, when I go into the DetailView the drop downs as not populated.
The data is there as its showing correctly in the table view / database but not in the detail view drop down and I don't understand why
can someone point me in the right direction?
