Notification::show() called without a message!

Warning: mysql_error() expects parameter 1 to be resource, null given in /home/okpropertiesgh/public_html/estate/orpm/db.php on line 201


I get the above error, after upgrading my files on the server to work with an existing DB. Any help to fix this will be very much appreciated.
