Advanced restricted Lookup

The recommended method of customizing your AppGini-generated application is through hooks. But sometimes you might need to add functionality not accessible through hooks. You can discuss this here.

Advanced restricted Lookup

Post by compusoft » 2023-05-26 17:13

Hi

After studying the whole course on Udemy and having learned a lot of JQuery, I still have the following question:

Is it possible to define variables to be used in the DV? With jQuery I can define the value I want to put in this advanced lookup query.

lookupQuery1.jpg

What I need is to use a variable (instead of the constant '2023-05-25') to filter the lookup. But I don't see how I can define that variable to be used in this Lookup query.

There is a way to do that?

Hi,

there is no such option at the moment. All you can use is the filter by as you have set here.
