Auto Update Child Record when Parent changes

I'm looking for what and where to place code to update a Child Table Record when a Parent Table Record changes.
For instance, when a value changes in my Quoting Table that affects the Price in the Results Table, I have to go to the Results Table and and click Save Changes before the Price will reflect the change in the Quoting Table. Not a huge deal, but would be nice for the Results value to update without that step.
Any suggestions would be appreciated,
