How can you make it where you can upload more than just one photo?

you can make a new table for photots and make a lookup field in it for the origina table , so you can have as much photos as you can for every record

can you explain to me how I can setup everything so a lookup field would show a photo? If I create such table, it can store all the pictures I like but it will not show the photo itself in table view or detail view.
