"X" ban in Brazil.

Wish to see a specific feature/change in future releases? Feel free to post it here, and if it gets enough "likes", we'd definitely include it in future releases!

"X" ban in Brazil.

Post by Marcelo Vitoria » 2024-09-14 17:53

Hi Ahmad, how are you?

The updates and news that you make through X (Twitter) in my country are now unavailable. As in other dictatorships, Brazil banned X for political reasons and is fining people who access it via VPN with around US$10,000.

For this reason, I ask that the news and posts about X that you make for AppGini also be posted here on the forum so that we Brazilians and also users from other countries where X is banned can keep up with the news.

Another forum item, like the one created for plugins, would be great so that we can keep up with the news.

Thank you in advance.

We are working on a new RSS feed to replace Twitter feed in the admin area of AppGini .. Stay tuned!

It would be wonderful if there were a developer version without all those feeds, Twitter, and other hints and ads to AppGini in the scripts. That way, you wouldn't have to manually remove all of that when delivering the app to a client. :-)

The newsletter and informations in the AppGini Windows app are surely sufficient.

OK, thanks, Ahmed.

Currently, X has been unblocked, but we don't know for how long.

And now that Facebook will no longer censor posts because of politics, it will probably be blocked here too by our cute dictatorship.
