Table grid Edit

Wish to see a specific feature/change in future releases? Feel free to post it here, and if it gets enough "likes", we'd definitely include it in future releases!

I have been using Appgini for at least 7 years now and the one option I keep looking for is the ability to edit data in the table view. I really hope you will move this ability up on your list of new improvements. I really like appgini and have written hundreds of databases, but always long for this ability.

So after 8 years no edit function has been made. I see too much requests of great features waiting for. I have to say that AppGini creates a web database in 5 minutes.... nothing else.... do you need something else? you have to pay pay and pay... Have you ever thought to get more customers satisfying their requests? Maybe paying 200/300 euro and giving them a complete software instead requiring 50 euro but I have to be a programmer to make something else?
Sorry for my thoughts but I really hate to see the great possibilities of an application "abandoned"

As this is taking too long I'd to search for a solution, I'm currently using Tabulator to create a table grid editable.
Fantastic tool, it is still a work in progress but final results are worth it. Another great thing is that Tables in tabulator can be responsive, so they can be easily viewed in phones and tablets, unlike appgini's tables.

I wish tabulator could be added to Appgini as a plugin like they did with Fullcalendar.

No editable grid yet? If I look at the number of views I believe that this grid is quite an important feature. But after many years of requesting this object/feature, it is terrible that there is still no solution.

Imagine where AppGini userbase could have been if they had an editable grid table :-)
Thanks for a great app. Please consider this development.

Please take into consideration how many different datatypes, rules and hooks we have including calculated fields, richtext, dynamic lookups, image/file uploads, record ownership, permissions and so on. This is not an easy task if we want full compatibility will all given AppGini features and constraints. It would take months in development and I doubt we'd pay triple the price for BigProf's ROI within 3-5 years.
Kind regards,
<js />
