Colored child-tabs in detail view

Hi,
it would be nice to have an option to color the child-tabs. Not only different colors would be nice, but also the option to set another color if the tab becomes the active one. Short: 2 colors for each tab.
Could look like this (done with css, viewtopic.php?f=8&p=16849#p16849):
