AG app - app option for 'id' fields

Could there be an application-level option the also auto-hide the 'id' field on detail views?
99.9% of the time I don't want the 'id' PK displayed, so I always have to remember to go check the 'Hide in detail view' option.
I know the AG app doesn't actually have options, so rather than add that complexity and slow/complicate AG development, I'd be just as happy if it could be set as a project-level option. Maybe in a new section called 'Designer Settings'?
