Save As Copy button isn’t seen

Post by RonP » 2013-09-26 14:34

Hi,
Even though I didn't mark the option: "Hide "Save as Copy" when editing records. I don’t see the Copy option (button) on the Edit screen.
How comes?

Ron

Umm ... what does the "Toevoegen" button do? I don't know the meaning of the word, but this is the location of the "Save as copy" button. So, I guess this is it.

Hi Gneady,
Sorry for the late response, wasn't online for a while.
The button "Toevoegen" means the same as "New record"
I miss the button : Save As, so in fact: Make a Copy of the "active record"

Judging from the screenshot you provided, "Opslaan" should save changes made to the record, and "Toevoegen" should make a copy of it ... If this is not what's happening currently, please let me know what each of them does.

Hi,
I'll translate the button txt:
Afdrukvoorb --> Print
Opslaan --> Save, This you'll use after a modification
Verwijderen --> Delete
Terug --> Back
Toevoegen --> Add, for a complete New record,

I also expected a button: Save As, or Copy the present record, so you could make a duplicate record

Toevoegen is SAVE AS COPY (comparing with the ICON in my application)

Did you try it and did not work?

Save As Copy button isn’t seen

Post by jaap » 2013-12-21 18:15

Hello Ron,

Probably this error is caused by an outdated Dutch language file. Download the current language.php from http://www.oosterhoff.org/cms/nl/downlo ... pgini.html

Hello Jaap,
Thanks for your file.
I've downloaded it and renamed to
language.php
and placed the file in the "main" folder of AppGini. (after deleting the old language.php file).
Then starting AppGini again and ..... language still is "English". As well in the "opened .axp file as in the ".html files"
Do I miss something?

Jaap,
Correction. It works.
I've placed the file at first in the directory of the "html" files. Which was wrong.
Thank you for pointing this out.
Ron
