I have used both the proper smtp and php mailer and get this message when trying to send to one of my Groups. Any idea's of how to fix this ?

maybe you both tell us some more details.
Also, is AG able to send emails at all? E.g. when a new user signs up, can the admin be notified by mail? Can the user request a recovery link by mail?

What version of AG are you using (your generated Application)?

I just tried using internal php mail method: Send an email to the administrator group. Message was "ok" and I received the mail in my client.

This is indeed strange, when I add new members it works, using PHP mail() and the user does receive a conformation email.

When trying to send a message to a user, the window just pops to invalid mail queue.

SMTP does not work at all, I tried with several different smtp servers.
