Hi,
I have a question for managing members by a specific group.
I have 3 "active" groups each with different table permissions for managing members.
1: Group Registered: For manage a members own record, so Name, Address, Phone, Email...... (Table (Leden/Contacten))
No Problem with this permission, the member can just manage his own record.
2 Group Admin: Managing ALL the tables
No Problem with this permission,
3: Group Penningmeester (Treasurer), Managing ALL the member records, just 1 table (Leden/Contacten)
This doesn’t work, only his "own" private record is shown, the other "N†Records doesn't show up.
What goes wrong ?
Ron

Re: Group permissions - what is wrong ? -
Based on what I understood: when this happens it is usually one of two things:
You have special permission set for the user in that group.
The records do not have owner. check if all of your records have owners.
Hope that helps

Hi AhmedBR ,
Thank you for this fast reply!
You are right, none of the records has an owner! The only time I saw that was asked for an owner was when I import records from a .csv file.
I've never used that option before.
So..... I imported some records and used the Owner settings option for this group.
That worked partially, The Admin has 930 records to manage and the "Penningmeester" only 670 records, what happened with the missing 260 records?
Something else came up:
Where is it stated that these records can be "managed" by the group Penningmeester?
I don't have a field "Owner" in table Leden/Contacten

Re: Group permissions - what is wrong ? -
Sign in as super admin and check who is the owner and group of these records.
Then we can figure out what to do.
