Front End for AppGini Backend

It's quite old and wondered if this has moved on much? i.e. A front end for the Appgini backend. Best way to source the data etc. I can do this manually too but wondered if there was a system in place to make this simpler, as I don't want to re-invent the wheel if so. Thanks.
