Hi all,
as you all know you can change the language for you app with the language-files available. The little drawback is that this language applies to all users now.
So I started to create a flexible language selection add-in which shall allow the user to choose his prefered language.
While not 100% finished, I would still like to show the current status and possibly get some feedback.
Currently you can choose between 2 languages (english and german).
Translation applies to the tablename, detail view description, fieldnames and help-description as shown in the demo.
You can reach a demo version here
https://boettchp.heliohost.org/testapp
Loginuser: demo
pwd: appginidemo
The hoster seems sometime to create an error 500 (if that happnes to you, please try reloading the site)
Feel free to send me your comments via mail.

Re: Multi-Language App
Hi pbötcher,
looks very nice. I suppose you use a session variable and replace the language filename in the to match that variable.
For testing, maybe jsetzer can save you some work, he has a demo database with all AG fieldtypes.
I am looking forward to seeing the next version.
Again, great work.
