Hi,
I needed a way to put a 2nd SAVE button on the top of the page, so when working with the first fields only noone would need to scroll down. This scrolling was very annoying when the application was used on a tablet or mobile device.
My solution can be found here ( viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3242&p=11106#p11106 ) - and I believe, it's pretty easy to adopt.
Looks like this (green save button get's "copied" once smaller screen size is used):
