Seemlingly not a problem if you don't use the nav bar, but in fact it renders the admin site unusable.
The fix is as easy as deselecting the 3D option, then saving the theme (before you close the theme window - don't forget to do this like I did).

Just a warning. I like to test my website on many different browsers and computers and I found that if using the bootstrap theme from 5.20, and had the 3D enabled (which imho has nearly negligible effect) my menu items on the pulldowns on the nav bar look like this:
