I have a name / address file. When the last name is "Lee", a quick search will not find that record. I believe what is happening is that if the whole field is three letters, Quick Search doesn't find the record.

Turns out if I add a space to the end of the Quick Search term, it works. Not very elegant...

I'll inspect this issue and see why it happens.
