I re-propose this problem because it has become serious: by now find a value in a dropdwon list form a parent table has become a torment.

In our AppGini developed portal, there are some forms that have 5-10 fields with a value taken from a parent table, and to fill each of them must wait from 5 to 20 seconds, so complete whole page takes a VERY long time.

I seen that the problem has been allready discussed, but it seems that no solution has been proposed, so i ask if there is something to do to mitigate this problem.

can you check your membership_grouppermissions if there are unnormal entries.
Otherwise could you post a little bit more information.

Is it possible that aren't indexes on some of the tables you are querying data from?
