AppGini Capacity

Hello.
I will appreciate if you could help with information about the next issue.
1. I am developing an application for a group of almost 850 students.
2. The idea is to install a single app in a single website for all of them.
3. Every student has to access to only his or her own files. Each of them will have his own user/password.
4. The app has 7 modules. The bigger module has like 30 fields. It is a small app.
5. This app will be installed in a server with enough resources.

My questions are:

1. Will I have any issue with the performance or capability to manage that number of students with the Appgini generated app? (Let suppose that the server resources is not the problem).
2. Assigning the Owner Right to the Group is enough to be sure that every student will have access to only the information that they upload?

Thanks for your time and comments.

Sincerely

Frank

Hi,

from my personal view I would say

1, yes
2, you may need to expand the security for uploaded files (if you have such a feature). Otherwise yes.

Tanks Pböttcher for your answer.

A last question.
From your experience, how many users can I handle with the generated app?
Thanks for your time.
Sincerely

Frank

Hi Frank,
You may want to refer to this thread for the security for uploaded files.

Good luck.

Hi Frank,

from my perspective I would say that there should be no issue. You may have some fun to create all the users and groups (if you need multiple), but the APP should handle that.
