Having trouble moving from my local drive to internet

Post by kanklovitch » 2020-04-03 21:10

My application is working fine on my local drive but after uploading when I try to open my application I get this message. I have my database set up in the Control Panel. I have done this once before with another application and everything worked but I am stumped this time.

Hi,

maybe you can try to remove the config.php file and the setup.md5 file and call you site again to recreate the settings.

Hi
I tried renaming those two files, this is what I get, the continue button doesn't work.

Hi,

to me it seems there are some files missing. Your screenshot shows Times New Roman font, but AG uses a different font in that place if I remember correctly. Please check, that all files have been uploaded correct.

That must be right because I got a step further but now I am getting an Access denied for user message. It must have something to do with my database setup in the Control Panel, I will check it out.

Thanks for the suggestion Olaf

Hi,

what happens if you click on continue? The setup for the app should appear and you can provide the necessary data.

Good morning
I am not seeing a continue option. The message reads - Access denied for user ‘wildwalker@localhost’ (using pasword:YES)

Wow, Thank you I am so grateful , I finally got it working. I go into a downward spiral of confusion sometimes when I make mistakes. Not to worry though, I absolutely love learning and working with AppGini for my business applications. You and others there truly are Super Heros. And than of course there's Ahmad the ultimate Super Hero.
