Search table based on values from another table

Hi
I am trying to figure out how to do a search in one table based on the value of another table. i have "towns" in the parent town table and "business names" in the child business table. I want to do a search on the business table and find which towns have the same business. Or search towns and find which towns have the same business. I hope that makes sense.
