Hello, I have a field called rent. The data type is decimal and the data format is US currency but the $ is not showing on the form.

Any help would be appreciated.

the currency is only shown in the table view, not the detail view. As you want the person to provide the data a simple way to enter the data (without the need to enter the currency). You could add the $ sign to the caption ("Rent $") to show that the data will represent $.
