Hello, I wanted to search this, but the search is not working.
I'm not seeing this option or looking over it, but:

Where can I find the option to hide the "Add record" button for a parent record in a detailview of a record?

Hi @mekin,

check the permissions of the group in admin-area.

If your user's group is allowed to insert records into the master-table, the button will be shown. In other words: revoke the "insert"-permission on that table for the group.
