Do advise if we can open the child table in a new window for edit.

Hi,
can you explain what you try to acheive. As it is, it will open the modal form to edit the data for this entry.

see right now.. if i click on the arrow.. the pop up sort of screen opens on top of the same window..
What I want is that instead of the pop up .. it opens in a new window.

I think the issue is, when you open it in a new window, you will lose the ability to get the update which you will make to the record directly reflected in the open view.
By opening the modal, you will get after the update and closing the modal the page refreshed and see directly the changes.
