Images uploaded sideways from iPhone

Hello AppGinians!
I've got a site where we upload pictures from iPhone and the images are always uploaded sideways. Is there anyway for appgini to read the exif data or a way to run a script to fix the orientation via CRON?
Anyone had an issue like this?
