Existing tables and users/groups

Post by railcam » 2015-10-14 09:14

Hi

Can I use AppGini on existing tables without affecting how they are used in my CMS?

In the above case, can the AppGini user/group elements be disabled?

Thanks,

Adrian

I'm trying to decide whether to buy the Pro version - is there an FAQ or something which covers this topic?
Thanks

Yes, you can safely use it with existing data. Although the login system (users/groups) can't be disabled, it won't interfere with your CMS and its login system in any way since AppGini login uses separate tables with a special prefix of membership_*.

Following are the advantages of the pro version over the trial:

1. Unlimited tables and fields (trial has a limit on table and field count).
2. Save projects to work on later and share with your coworkers (trial version can't save projects).
3. Priority customer support.
4. 1 year of free upgrades.
 AppGini plugins to add more power to your apps:

Oh yes - go Pro version. Worth the money. It does not cost much and have very good value for money.
