New version question

Post by shasta59 » 2015-01-15 20:16

Will the new version (5.3.2) be out before early February? The reason for asking is my 1 year anniversary date is near the beginning of Feb. If it comes out later, then to get it I will need to buy (at the discounted price) the latest revision just to get a minor increment change version.

Thanks

No need to worry about this .. minor versions are free for owners of the latest major version .. So, if you have 5.30+, you'll get 5.32 free of charge even if your last order is older than 1 year.

Thanks for answering this as I was wondering the same thing myself.

Does that mean 5.40 wouldn't be covered if the last order is over 1 year, or only when it gets to 6.00 would it not be covered ? - What is classed as 'Major' version ?

Yep ... 5.40 wouldn't be covered if the last order is over 1 year ... 5.30, 5.40, 5.50 .. etc are major versions ... 5.31, 5.32 .. etc are minor versions.
