Hi All, I recently had the good luck to find AppGini and have started developing a Application I have been stewing over for some time.
One of the key components is to offer advanced reporting from the MySql db, so after getting my primary tables in place I started looking for a platform for reports and graphs. My first stop was these forums and realized that more than a few people are looking for some kind of option for this.
In case this hasn't come up on the forum I found a Open Source report designer and server from http://www.next-reports.com.
I've installed the server side on a Windows Datacenter 2012 server without issues and connected the MySql server from my sql server. I then installed the designer on my Win laptop and connected the datasource and I'm in business.
They also have a java based engine to embed in your apps.
Just wanted to pass the info along to the users of the board.
