How to reorder Fields in designer and/or HTML form

Post by artemisia » 2013-10-01 16:03

Hi all,

Is it possible to reorder existing fields by using the Designer? After creating fields in my table, I want to change the HTML page so that my Users see them in a different order. I would like to do this without deleting fields (and saving data into temp fields).

Thanks,
~Bob

The toolbar button to move fields works in the Pro (paid) version, just not apparently in the free version (might require the project save feature to be enabled).

Sorting fields works in both the trial and pro versions. I tried it now to check and it's working fine. Am I missing something?

I have found that sometimes the buttons don't work (either up or down), closing the project and re-opening re-enables the buttons. I had first found the problem in the trial version, which does not save the project, so didn't close it. Now that I have the paid version, I can close and reopen and that fixes the problem. It occurs only infrequently, but I have not far found a pattern for when it happens.

Umm .. I remember that I made some changes in the sorting code several weeks ago to fix a similar issue (sorry, too lazy to look up the code logs now!) ... I'll release the new version within a few days so I guess this issue would probably be fixed.
