Hi Pasbonte
I think you’re on your own, except for me. I am having problems with Mass Update too. I have posted on the forum and even been in touch with Appgini support but all has gone quiet. Strange considering it is a paid plugin.
I have like you cleared cache, but to no avail. I have reloaded Mass Update too. I find that I can create the Mass Update rule but it doesn’t work, but the next day it does???? I get it to work on different devices, ipad, pc etc but never a pattern or reason.
Good luck finding a solution. If you do, then let me know and visa versa.
John

I have found that you must frequently clear browser cache to make the Mass Update Plugin work. Not a full blown clear cache, but a simple Control+Shift+Refresh. This usually makes the Mass Update function work. It's a hassle for users who aren't very computer savy. ANd as yet, none of my inquiries on the forum have been replied to.

When all paramteres are already defined, when it comes to "Output folder" it keeps showing a red-button error with the legend "invalid path".
I have already tryed the URL path (
http://domain.com/working_carpet) and the file system path like in the example shown below the field where we type the path (/var/www/html/working_carpet). I already changed the permissions for the "working_carpet" to "777" but nothing works.
Any suggestions?

Sadly, I don't have a ton of knowledge in solving code issues. What I've found works with the mass update plugin when it stops working is to delete the project in the dialog that opens for mass update and re upload the most recent version of the project and go through the trouble of reconstructing my mass update commands. There is probably a better way, but I don't know it. If you have a ton of commands, that's a problem. But if you only have a few, it might work.

After generating the mass update commands, you should ideally download the project file. This file contains all the configuration settings, so you won’t need to recreate the commands later.
Whenever you make major changes, like adding new tables or fields, upload the updated project file to the plugin. Then, download the updated file again for use in the AppGini Desktop app. As long as you keep the project file up to date, the plugin will be easy to use without any hassle. Mass update has proven to be the most useful and straightforward plugin for my project and this process has never resulted in a failure personally.
