Appgini 5.81, Reports 3
On the report dashboard I can only see one of my views (membership_users2). I have 25 views total in my appgini db. Reports will be based on a selection of these views, which have already consolidated the data.
How do I enable all of my views in the dashboard?
Thanks, ~Bob
Reports 3: not all my views are listed
Re: Reports 3: not all my views are listed
Hi Bob,
assuming when talking about the report dashboard you mean the project.php for Summary Reports?
Does you Appgini Project (AXP-File) contain all those 25 views?

Re: Reports 3: not all my views are listed
Thanks for that confirmation, I realised it after I posted. It's been a while since I've configured new tables in an appgini project. At this time only one view currently has a corresponding table inside the Project, so that's all I can see.
My followup question is: I'm looking for an easier method to create a Project table corresponding to an existing view. Is the only way to make a table of the same name as the view, and one by one all of the view's fields and properties, then assume that appgini will match that to the view? (Checking help didn't reveal an answer for this particular situation)

Re: Reports 3: not all my views are listed
Just to be sure I understood what you want to do: your goal is to have a matching Project file to the existing views in the database?
If so the following might work:
Export your database (eg. phpmyadmin)
Import the exported database to Appgini. There's a function in Appgini for creating a project from an existing Mysql.
Then save it as Project File and use this for the summary reports.

Re: Reports 3: not all my views are listed
I may give that a try. It seems like a long workaround, and I'll have to delete most the imported tables.
This is assuming that I can get Reports 3 to work (my other question thread), since that's the only reason I need these views in the Project.
