option list item dissapears

Hi,

for option lists with multiple-choice list box, there seems to be an issue with trailing blanks. If the list item contains a trailling blank, the item is stored correctly, but if the record is retrieved, the selected item is not listed any more.
Any help offered comes with the best of intentions. Use it at your own risk. In any case, please make a backup of your existing environment before applying any changes.
