bug or feature? 5.76: Image preview count wrong

Hi,
I have uploaded 21 images, but the table is set to show only 10.
When I click on the preview the count below the image shows "of 10". As jsetzer once said - the developer has to decide sometimes, but I wonder if this is on purpose of just the ajax behavior. One can assume that only 10 images are shown because the the table shows only 10 - but that's assumption and might be unclear for the (end)user. So images are shown only by count of images on the page displayed.
