New AppGini Pro V 5.73 Rev 1050

Post by ronwill » 2019-02-06 20:26

Hi,

I've just upgraded, but hit a snag!

Loaded a previous project and saved it under new version, no problems local machine, but after uploading to server everything seemed ok until I tried to sign-in and or sign out, after username/password entry it directed me to:

https://myproject.com/homepages/5/d1066 ... /index.php

instead of: https://myproject.com/index.php

Any ideas?

My database is hosted on my providers server (i.e. not under same folder/location as my website url)

To ensure it is not connected to my earlier project file, I created from scratch a new projects with 2 tables, admin + guest (with permission to view), and have uploaded it to my server all done in exactly the same way/method as have always been doing.

Still getting same issue: when trying to selecting sign in after entering user/password for admin, I get directed to blank page

//temptest.mydomain.com/homepages/5/d106630000/htdocs/temptest/index.php

instead of: //temptest.mydomain.com/index.php (if I manually change url address to this I'm back in again as admin)

Then if selecting sign out I get: //temptest.mydomain.com/homepages/5/d106630000/htdocs/temptest/index.php?signIn=1 with blank screen

Have a number of projects I'm updating but won't open them in new version till have solution to above.

Have php 7.2

Cheers,
Ron

I have the same issue, but manage to downgrade and backup my old password to 5.72

I have PHP 7.2 as well.

I create a new project to test the new version and getting this error

This page isn’t working webserver redirected you too many times.

ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS

I think ver 5.73 don't work well with PHP 7.2

Yes I tried a roll back to php 7.1 and that didn't help, so have also gone back to earlier version of AppGini 5.71 and had to go to database server and re-set password. Hope the issue gets resolved soon otherwise it blocks me from being able to continue to keep getting the latest version and enhancements and I love using AppGini!
