field text lost in detail view

I use the latest version 5.30 beta revision 624
when I want to edit a record, the content of a text field is lost.
If I 'save' with the blank field it's lost.

Hi,
I don't receive any news after my bug request....
I've found the reason of this issue.
It come's from special chars in french for example "é"
When such special chars is used in a text field it can't be showed in detail view.

What is the character encoding you used in your project file?

It's ok... I have changed the char settings to UTF8 and it works as expected
