Char encoding for option list values

Post by gerardus » 2014-06-03 17:40

Hi all,

I've created a list of countries in catalan language to use in option lists.
When I select this particular .lst file in the IDE, I can see the correct country names with accents.
When the list is displayed on the web page, the accents and special characters are mangled.
How should I encode the .lst file to have it displayed correctly?

Best regards,

Gerard.

What is the character encoding you specified in AppGini?
 AppGini plugins to add more power to your apps:
  • DataTalk is an innovative AppGini plugin based on ChatGPT that allows you to interact with your AppGini database using natural language questions, without writing any SQL. Check the demo video
  • Mass Update plugin: Update multiple records at once and improve your workflow efficiency.
  • Check our other plugins and get a generous discount of up to 30% when buying 2 or more plugins.

Hi,
thanks for your quick reply and sorry for being late in getting back.
I dind't know there was such an option.
It was set to "Western". Setting ti to UTF-8 did the trick :)
Thanks again.
