Re: Filter by Date Range

Thank you for your reply, in order: 1. The date format in my project IS set to GB 2. Thank you for the correction concerning order of conditions. Problem: It still only accepts Unix date formats. Is this possibly because the field I'm filtering on, i.e., 'Created_On' is a TimeStamp Field and NOT a d...

Re: Initial Start or Home Page Incorrect

Sorry for the delayed reply - 1. If I put in 'http://yourwebsite/folder_name/index.php?signIn=1' it goes to the correct login page, but if I just enter the folder, ie, 'http://localhost/c_members/' it goes to my membership List page. 2. I have decreased the timeout on my echo membership List by sett...

Re: Add-On - UK Counties List

Hmmm... there seems to be a miscommunication here. I had no intention of causing offence. And the word 'Uppity' was not meant to describe you but was a generalised term to describe those who feel that their 'counties' - whether postal, local authority and historic should alway be represented. I have...

Filter by Date Range

I've recently noted that filtering by a date range does not work correctly. Examples: 1. UK dates (dd/mm/yyyy) are not accepted. Only the UNIX format yyyy-mm-dd. 2. Conditional 'AND' isn't accepted but 'OR' is - but the range is incorrect. Question: Since I only wish to EVER select a range between 2...

Re: Add-On - UK Counties List

Hmmm... I was going to go down this route myself - but as some people get uppity about their county I decided to include as many as possible - despite the fact that several no longer exist and some are purely administrative (e.g. Avon). In fact there are several sets of counties including postal, lo...

Initial Start or Home Page Incorrect

One of the applications I've created with AppGini, for some reason always starts on the wrong page. The App is a simple membership system - keeping track of members, dues, associated activities etc... The initial page should always be the Login Page - but it invariably defaults to the membership Lis...

Re: Multiple selection for lookup field

The Problem is that you have a many-2-many relationship here. Many employees can attend Many sessions. Because you have a many-2-many relationship, I assume you've created a 'Link' Table (also called a Join Table): Employee_ID - Session_ID -> (Link Table) Employee_FK-Session_FK ID fields come from t...

Modal List Lookup Edit

Hi,
I'd like to be able to have a modal window pop when I wish to add/edit a drop down lists values... e.g. Job Titles - Preferably when I press the small magnifying glass icon - Anyone know a way to do this?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Audit Log

Slight change to the Audit Log in order to get it to work with MySQL & MySQLi Databases:

mysql_fetch_row should be changed to : db_fetch_row
and
mysql_fetch_array should be changed to : db_fetch_array

Re: Compare Old and new Value of a Filed

Several problems here. 1. In MySQL, ' PASSWORD ' is a reserved word. You'll have to rename it to something like ' password_hash '. 2. Select Syntax is incorrect. Should be-: $CurrentPassword=sqlValue("SELECT aes_decrypt(password_hash,$key) FROM Credentials WHERE ID = '{$data['selectedID']}' "); note...

Re: Date/Time/User Stamp on text box when notes added

I also had a requirement for this and came up with this solution: NOTE: date('Y-m-d G:i:s') gets Date-Time and outputs it in UNIX (MySQL) format. Note that is the PHP date function which is dependent upon a lot of factors, including localisation, php server time etc - in order to get this informatio...

Add Arbitrary Session Value to Url

Hi, can anyone give me a clue as to how to add a Session Value to a button URL?

Because the Templates go through a templating engine - the normal method doesn't seem to work.

Yes, this does make sense - For example, a record of a patient's death should occur once and once only!

Here's How To Dynamically alter the TableTitle

If, like me, you'd prefer to have a dynamic Table Title - One that changes to describe the View (Customer List, Customer Details, Print Preview etc) - Here's how to implement it. 1. In the incCommon.php file (found at the root of the app) add the following function (Courtesy of a.gneady ): Add the f...

Dynamically alter the TableTitle

Hi,
is there a way to dynamically alter the TableTitle array in the Options List so that when I select a customer from a list, it says 'Customer Details' instead of 'Customer List' ?
