Re: Calculated fields

Perhaps the solution is much simpler: I just saw that a single quote is missing at the end of your SQL command SELECT ( `DNB_MAITRISE_SOCLE`.`D11_FR`+`DNB_MAITRISE_SOCLE`.`D11_HG`+`DNB_MAITRISE_SOCLE`.`D11_SVT`+`DNB_MAITRISE_SOCLE`.`D11_PHY`+`DNB_MAITRISE_SOCLE`.`D11_TECHNO`)/5 FROM DNB_MAITRISE_SOC...

Re: Calculated fields

+1 for @pböttcher: Using NULL for calculations may produce unexpected results, I totally agree, see simple example in SQL: chrome_bHPwdWloWX.png But on the other hand we can see from the screenshot that you don't have NULLs in the selected fields of that specific row. Narrow down Did you check if yo...

Re: Concatenation with date() to get month

Does $data contain a prefix-value? prefix field must not be readonly. For narrowing down I would debug the contents of $data in before_insert hook to see if there is any $data['prefix'] array item at all: var_dump($data); exit(); :oops: SORRY, I was too fast. My answer is not helpful as you said, yo...

Re: add and view buttons disappear when adding to tab

One more question: Are you using .wrap() function on fields, for example something like this?

Code: Select all

dv.getFields("item_id,task_id").wrap();

Re: Lookup fields getting very slow ...

As mentioned before: it just takes the numbers AppGini provides.

Olaf, a JavaScript function cannot fetch data using SQL from a serverside mySQL data without any interface.

Sorry, @Olaf, I can not confirm this.

That part of AG Helper Javascript Library reiles on the values shown below the table which come from AppGini itself.

Still don't know if the problem has something to do with AppGiniHelper.

Re: add and view buttons disappear when adding to tab

all instances of detailview(); were replaced with helper(); Well, maybe I got your answer wrong or my answer was not understandable, sorry for my English! Re: add and view buttons disappear when adding to tab

This may be a delay-problem with lazy loaded dropdowns. Are you using the new and recommended initialization for dv and tv? https://appgini.bizzworxx.de/products/javascript-library/documentation/ DV var dv = AppGiniHelper.DV; TV jQuery(document).ready(function() { var tv = AppGiniHelper.TV; }); The ...

Sorry, just a stupid question: Is there any blank character in the path (directory name). I once had the same situation and wasn't able to login. I should say: login was fine, but redirect did not work and sent me back to login. After changing the app path in config.php it worked again. I have repla...

Re: Lookup field shows data from another field

In employees.dept double check lookup options. Especially check value of caption 1. Can you please upload a screenshot of the field settings of employees.dept Note that the primary key (id) will be stored in database. The field(s) you define as caption are just for display. The primary key defines t...

Re: Hide custom action button

Yes, string concatenation with + in javascript will work, too.

The `${variable}` notation seems new to many javascript developers. I don't see it very often. For me this is very useful and I got used to using that template-like string building instead of + concatenation.

You can use the return value of addButton function: var dv = AppGiniHelper.dv; var grp = dv.getActionButtons().addGroup("Group (1)"); var btn = grp.addButton("Button (1)", function (e) { /* your fn */ }); console.log("id of button: " + btn.id); chrome_tJ1CPmCNOR.png Console output: chrome_yzXWKUm1eK...

Re: Get children table from other table

Honestly speaking, I did not get your idea. And definitely AppGini does not support changing the list of related child-records when changing a lookup selection in one master record in UI. If you need filtering of all child records on the fly, I have no efficient hooks-only idea. If you can cope with...

Not sure if I understood your question:
You can select a default sort-field in your project directly

I though this would apply to child-tables, too, but maybe I'm wrong.

It would help us helping you if you could give more details on the tables and relations, perhaps an excerpt from your ERM. I don't know your tables but for me the first JOIN looks weird. The FROM clause naming two tables without joining them should result in a cartesian product which may not be what...

+1 @pböttcher

Additionally, there is the NEW magic file hooks/__bootstrap.php which will be loaded at the very beginning. Caution: this will be loaded even before lib.php, so don't expect existence of well known AppGini PHP functions at that point.

Thanks for reporting.
