Re: join() function in helper library?

Thank for helping but I still can't get it to work.

This is my code:
b.png
b.png (14.78 KiB) Viewed 759 times

And this is the result:
a.png
a.png (7.27 KiB) Viewed 759 times
Don't know if this is enough to push me in the right direction, not nothing seems to change when using the code.

Thanks for all help.

Re: How to send WhatsApp messages to phones using PHP

Just wanted to chime in with this related tip. Would it be possible to convince the customer to use Telegram instead of (or in addition to WhatsApp)? Telegram has a super, free, API that makes it very easy to send messages from PHP. At work we use it to monitor server uptime, mail queues etc and I g...

join() function in helper library?

Is the join() function implemented in the current helper library? I have been trying to follow https://appgini.bizzworxx.de/appgini/highlights/extension-keep-column-names-when-joining-table-view-columns/ but I can not get it to work. I have created the file tablename-tv.js and inserted this jQuery(d...

Re: Datepicker - first day of week

Great, that solved it completely.

Code: Select all

$Translation['datetimepicker locale'] = 'nb';
resulted in a Norwegian datepicker with monday as start of week.

Thanks!

Yes I think it was. While you wrote this last message I tested once more and now it works. Sorry for the false alarm.

Works great now. Thanks!

Did you model those three fields as DateTime, (not Date)?
Yes, all three are DateTime in AppGini and I just checked that they are also datatime in the database.

Only the first field works as intended.

Datepicker on multiple fields

I have trouble using the datepicker setting on several fiels.

Should this work?

Code: Select all

var dv = new AppGiniDetailView();
dv.compact();
new AppGiniField( "date_a" ).toDatepicker();
new AppGiniField( "date_b" ).toDatepicker();
new AppGiniField( "date_c" ).toDatepicker();

I would like to always have the action buttons ( Save, Cancel etc) at the bottom of my detail view. Now those buttons appear to the left of the input fields if the screen is wide. If I make the screen narrower they move to the bottom, below the last input field. Is there an easy way to always make t...

Re: How large is too large for a project with AppGini ...

Although, I have been thinking what if AppGini could feed itself by reading or importing directly a database (MySql that is) and not just importing tables as CSV files. That is because there are lots of tools for databse design which facilitates and makes a faster DB design than going through the s...

Re: importing data with Danish letters

Make sure that the CSV files has the right encoding. One way to do that is open the CSV file in LibreOffice Calc and save it as a new CSV file. Choose "Edit filter settings" when saving and choose "Unicode" as character set. Then try to import that file. ( "Edit filter settings", "Unicode" etc may b...

Re: Restricted Records

I would guess that all of this is already built in and could be utilised by modifying the group / membership system. Have you looked at Admin area > Members > View members records? You could add group ownership to any single record and adjust visibility of that record in the Groups section. Have not...

Perhaps you could solve it by adding this library: http://www.pdfparser.org/ You could create a couple of new fields for each file - for example date_indexed and fulltext_extracted Then you could create a nightly php script to traverse all files in your database where date_indexed = NULL and store t...

Can autofill save the looked up value?

I would like to use someting like lookup + autofill, but instead of storing the id of the record in the parent table, the "looked up" value should be stored instead. Example: 1. In my orders table I have a lookup field called "Customer_name". This field looks up the customer name in my customer tabl...

Re: Lock down some fields

Hi Ahmad,

Thanks for answering.

>You can set the order ID field as read-only in order details. That would effectively lock it.

I tried that, but then the field does not save. When adding a new item the order ID shows correct as read only field, but in database it is stored as NULL?
