Re: completetly different CSV export SQL?

@Olaf, try this temporary fix for now, till next release: In datalist.php, find this line:

Code: Select all

$result = sql($csvQuery, $eo);
And add this one after it:

Code: Select all

$FieldCountCSV = db_num_fields($result);
I hope that helps.

Re: Bug (5.75)?: Changes in Admin Settings wreck path includes

Thanks, Olaf. It seems this could occur if you're running your AppGini app on the domain root directly ... Please try this and if it works fixing this issue, kindly let me know to apply it in a hotfix release: Please open the generated admin/pageSettings.php file in a text/code editor, and find this...

You can add JavaScript code in footer-extras.php to support this. Please see the example at https://bigprof.com/blog/appgini/make-i ... igning-up/

Re: Annoyance 5.75: No 1:1 relation possible

To clarify, this issue is not specific to 5.75 ... Supporting one-to-one relationship is on our to-do list for testing (you're right @Olaf about there being nothing to prevent it in the codebase, but we just need to make some tests to make sure it works as expected). So expect to see it very soon.

Re: Bug (5.75)?: Changes in Admin Settings wreck path includes

Hmm ... I'm inspecting this issue now but unable to reproduce it. Is it possible to specify the URL of your admin settings page? I don't need to access the page itself so please feel free to obfuscate the domain name .. I just need to test how the URL is getting parsed to extract the $appURI value.

That's very touching ... yes @jmbodla ... AppGini can certainly help ... Re: Bug in Search Page Maker: Simple vs. Advanced problem

I got your AXP, Olaf and will investigate the issue and fix it in the next release of SPM.
If you can find the time and like to, feel free to contact me. I'd be
happy to have another phone call. I'm just curious about current status
of development and road map.
So glad to learn that, Ron :D

Re: Bug? 5.75: Does AG assume PK is always integer?

Hmm ... AppGini doesn't assume that PK is always an integer ... You could try checking the Customers table from the online demo at https://bigprof.com/demo, where the primary key field is a VARCHAR and it's working fine. Is it possible to send me the AXP project file where this issue occurs please? ...

Re: Custom Signup Field Validation

You could add JavaScript code in hooks/footer-extras.php for validation … First, check that the URL is "membership_signup.php" and if so, add a form submission handler to check the field values … and if a value is invalid, show error and return false to prevent submission: <script> $j(function() { /...

Hmm .. to make sure I understand what you describe, would this be for example something like this: get_custom_permissions($table, $pk, $operation, $user_info) that the application would call before displaying a record, editing or deleting it? The application would call this function passing the tabl...

Re: 5.75: Rebuild fields ignored existing fields in database

Not exactly a bug ... there are many scenarios where 2 or 3 AppGini or 3rd party apps access the same database and tables, and they might be designed to access only specific fields and ignore the rest. That's why we follow the safe approach of ignoring table fields that are not specified in the AppG...

Re: Req: SQL Statement as source for lookup field

Mmm ... lookup fields implemented in AppGini work only through saving the primary key of the parent record. Storing any other field would introduce many issues. However, using 'Advaned' button in the lookup tab, you can compose any custom SQL query to display any other values/fields to users. When d...

Re: Issue with the database backup on the new version

I'm guessing because the default database creation requires a blank password without an option to change it that I can see. Try opening a command window (under Windows, open the Start menu and type 'cmd' and press Enter), then type this in the command line window: mysql -uroot This would start MySQ...

Re: Not automatically approving members

This setting is group-specific. For example, let's assume you have a group A, where users can sign up without admin approval, and a group B, where admin must approve users. Now, if a user signs up to group A, she should automatically be approved. If another user signs up to group B, she won't be abl...

Re: AJAX File not working

I don't seem to find any issues in your code ... could you try doing some debugging? Try adding this code at the end:

Code: Select all

var_dump(array(
    'id' => $id,
    'grand_total' => $grand_total,
    'currency_conv' => $currency_conv,
    'order_value_myr' => $order_value_myr
));

Re: Periodically refreshing the table view without reloading the page

Well .. seems the datepicker is using an HTML table, and thus the refresh code selects it incorrectly. So the fix is to make the selector more specific .. So, instead of:

Code: Select all

$j('table')
Try:

Code: Select all

$j('.table_view table')
