Integrating with standard CMS (like wordpress) would enhance the audience for Appgini and handle many of the suggestions that are made for content management / appearance features.

If you find this interesting, reply to voice your opinion.. :!:

I have plans to write an AppGini WP plugin tool ... I guess I'll begin working on it in early 2014, but not sooner due to time restrictions :(

Hello,

we have 2015 - is there any news about this plugin? I search for a way to combine a community with appgini without double registrations.

Regards

Not sure with wordpress, but Joomla for example has an excellent API you can use easy from external tools. I guess Wordpress it's the same

We've delayed the WP plugin for long as we were working on other more demanded features for AppGini, the customization course, the SPM plugin and ongoing bug fixes..

The good news is that it will be one of our top priority for 2017.

Given the limited amount of time the AppGini team has, I would vote against any WordPress integration...

Why?

Simply put, it would be merely duplicating functionality that already exists in several WordPress plugins that have been around for a decade or so...

I personally see AppGini as a more valuable tool to build "stand alone" web applications without the "weight" of WordPress.

Yes the reports functionality is far more important to make AppGini a more complete solution in comparison to the competitor products. It NEEDS robust report functionality.

Indeed. The point of AppGini is to create web database applications (just check the tag line!)

A report generator is crucial for that purpose.

Wordpress integration is not at all.
