Table header

Post by claudiu111 » 2014-02-18 11:33

Hi.
Is it possible to somehow have the table headers displayed as I scroll down in the completed fields? If i have a large table with a lot of rows, when I go down I can't see the column's header.
Thank you.

Ahmad,

I agree. I get this request from our users all the time.. Like FREEZE THE TOP row in Excel.

It really is an issue if you have more than 10 rows as you have to scroll back to the top and back down to see the header of the field your looking at.
Can you add it to the program list of 'add ons' you have planned?

Thanks so much for all your hard work. Is there a donate button to donate to your project?

+1 to the feature request. This would make a good addition.

Added to my backlog ... Will test this javascript plugin and if it works, will add it to next release: http://fixedheadertable.com/
 AppGini plugins to add more power to your apps:
  • DataTalk is an innovative AppGini plugin based on ChatGPT that allows you to interact with your AppGini database using natural language questions, without writing any SQL. Check the demo video
  • Mass Update plugin: Update multiple records at once and improve your workflow efficiency.
  • Check our other plugins and get a generous discount of up to 30% when buying 2 or more plugins.

AppGini 5.30 beta is in final testing now and will send notifications for a download link within a few days. Final 5.30, if all goes well with the beta, would be released in the first week of June.

I see that this thread is over 4 years old. Has there been any forward progress on this feature? It would be a great addition to an already great piece of software.

I'm using AppGini 5.62 revision 990.

I would appreciate any help with this. I have alot of records and the header would be nice to keep in view.
