Re: Trouble with chars on subtable
Rev 982 seems to fix this problem.
May I suggest to the AppGini team: Can you post revision bug fix log 981, 982,.. etc going forward?
Change log entries such 5.60 "More than 40 UI enhancements and bug fixes" is not informative.
Making your bug log viewable will save a lot of us time. While caveat emptor AppGini has grown over the past several years as has the complexity of many applications based on it. In some instances it is being used for enterprise solutions.
A more professional way of communicating would not require that much more effort but would give confidence about your team's commitment going forward. I've been an admirer of Ahmad for longer than I can remember and I think many here would agree that we want to see AppGini grow to the next level of professional reliable quality. Thanks.

Re: Trouble with chars on subtable
Is there somewhere on the web site to see the latest rev number? Eg. That latest download is 5.60 rev 982?
The only way seems to be to download periodically to see if the rev number is changed. Could the download page at least say something like "ver 5.60 rev 982" and we could check back and download if there's a a newer rev?
This might also help faster testing turnaround by more users, stem some of the duplicate bug reports, and hopefully more up to date feedback to development.
Just a thought.
Thanks.

Re: Trouble with chars on subtable
Hello everyone,
same problem here with greek language and UTF-8 encoding set everywhere (appgini project, mysql db, php etc.). Installed Appgini version is 5.60 (rev.977). In chrome (last updated today) still show jubrish in child tables. In firefox and edge looks fine.
Please advice.
Thanks a lot
Keep the good work!

Re: Trouble with chars on subtable
As I downloaded 5.61 and as I experienced new problems again I have no way to see what the rev # of the latest available download is and will have no way to know whether fixes as the new version gets shaken down become available. Just says 5.61. Guys, this is a simple thing to make the life of your users who are willing to work with you professionally and who are paying for the pro version just a little easier. It shouldn't be so difficult come on please!
Re: Trouble with chars on subtable
I have to agree with this. I've previously re-downloaded on a semi-regular basis to see if it has been updated at all. Just post the revision number against the download - save us all a lot of time.apirnar wrote: ↑2017-04-20 00:35As I downloaded 5.61 and as I experienced new problems again I have no way to see what the rev # of the latest available download is and will have no way to know whether fixes as the new version gets shaken down become available. Re: Trouble with chars on subtable
There has been only one published revision for 5.61, which is 988 and the reason we didn't publish the revision number is that we decided not to use multiple revision numbers with the same version number as this -- as you already mentioned above -- caused a lot of confusion in 5.60 .. So, when we make any future fixes, it will be a new version number ... 5.62, 5.63, 5.70 ... etc ... you don't need to check revision numbers from now on .. Sorry for the confusion caused in 5.60
